Lumispot Tech offers a range of large-channel water-cooled laser diode arrays. Among them, our long pulse width vertical stacked array uses high-density laser bar stacking technology, which can consist of up to 16 diode bars of 50W to 100W CW power. Our products in this series are available in a choice of 500w to 1600w peak output power with bar counts ranging from 8-16. These diode arrays allow operation with long pulse widths of up to 400ms and duty cycles of up to 40%. The product is designed for efficient heat dissipation in a compact and rugged package hard-soldered via AuSn, with a built-in macro-channel water cooling system with >4L/min water flow and water cooling temperatures of roughly 10 to 30 degrees Celsius, allowing for good thermal control and highly reliable operation. This design enables the module to obtain high-brightness laser output while maintaining a small footprint.
One of the applications of the long pulse width vertical stacked array is mainly laser hair removal. Laser hair removal is based on the theory of selective photothermal action and is one of the more advanced forms of hair removal that is widely popular. There is abundant melanin in the hair follicle and hair shaft, and the laser can target the melanin for precise and selective hair removal treatment. The long pulse width vertical stacked array offered by Lumispot tech is an important accessory in hair removal devices.
Lumispot Tech still offers to mix diode bars in different wavelengths between 760nm-1100nm to meet the needs of more customers. These laser diode arrays have been widely used for pumping solid-state lasers, and hair removal.
